Mrinalini Ghadiok

Independent design consultant, India

An architect by training, visualizer by heart and writer by passion, Mrinalini worked in architecture, lighting design, historical research and writing for more than a decade, before shifting focus to the narrative of design and architectural experiences and stepping into publishing as the founding editor of mondo*arc India and stirworld.com.

Her foray into print and digital media, along with extensive experience in curating initiatives such as dialogues, conferences, presentations and exhibitions, have paved the way to other explorative media. She has collaborated with various design affiliated organisations to derive opportunities and platforms that question normative mechanisms in the creative community, and recently co-founded Unplugged Talks, an open platform wherein she interviews creatives from across international cultural landscapes to unravel their personal journeys and explorations.

Mrinalini’s parallel pedagogical experience ranges from teaching architectural design studio and conducting independent workshops, to being empanelled as jury for several national and international awards and competitions.

Currently an independent consultant, she extends her passion for architecture, design, craft and art by creating discourse through critical writing and curatorial practices.
