Introduction

Welcome to the Virtual Lighting Design (VLD) Community – an engaging online platform dedicated to the lighting industry for connecting people, enhancing skills and sharing knowledge. By becoming a supporter, you are joining a community that is committed to advancing the field of lighting design and fostering meaningful collaborations within the lighting design fraternity.

Supporter Packages and Benefits:

The VLD Community offers two different packages for supporters who are keen on contributing to the community and increasing their brand exposure. The two supporter packages include the following key elements:

• Entry-level Supporter Package:

Value: US$ 1,000 for one year or US$ 2,500 for three years (discount)

Benefits: General brand exposure on the VLD Community website, community platform, weekly digest, and selected social media posts (tagged with supporter handles). Access to the community platform to engage with community members and content (see guidelines for more details).

• Entry-level Supporter Package:

Value: US$ 2,000 for one year or
US$ 5,000 for three years (discount)

Benefits: Includes all elements of the Entry-level package. Opportunity to curate a short 20-second company plug and/or small advert to be featured in VLD Community's video content, podcast and selected written content. Brand promotion through video content, thumbnails, and hosted events. Flexibility to request VLD Community's participation and event coordination at the following additional fees:

+US$ 500 = 1x virtual (podcast/panel discussion) event

+US$ 1000 = 1x hybrid (sponsors’ location) event

+US$ 2500 = 1x in-person event (details to be discussed)

Additional Considerations:

The VLD Community is committed to providing supporters with a platform to showcase their brand and actively engage with the lighting design community. The community spans various media formats, including written articles, videos, and podcasts, as well as panel discussions, seminars, interviews, and in-person events.

As the VLD Community’s following grows, the brand exposure and engagement opportunities for supporters will become even more valuable. It is important to note that the focus is on mutually beneficial partnerships, where supporters align with our mission to support the lighting design community for the greater good of the industry.

Agreement:

By agreeing to become a supporter of the VLD Community, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this agreement. Upon signing, we look forward to a fruitful collaboration that benefits both the community and your organisation.

Terms and Conditions:

Feedback and Engagement:

VLD Community welcomes comments, engagement, and feedback from supporters but imposes no obligations to participate.

Financial Obligations:

A tax invoice in addition to this agreement stating the payable amount (as selected by the supporter) will be shared with the supporter. Supporter-ship will officially commence once payment towards this invoice has been received by the VLD Community.

Liability:

VLD Community shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense suffered by any Supporters in relation to the VLD Community. VLD Community will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees incurred by the Supporter.

Compliance with Terms of Use and Privacy Policy:

Anyone becoming a member of the VLD Community is subject to the website's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at (https://www.vld.community/terms-of-service-and-privacy-policy). Any questions regarding this can be directed to the following email address: community@vld.community

Material for Promotional Use:

The Supporter grants permission to the VLD Community for using its logo, social links (handles) and other content provided to VLD Community for promotional purposes. Additionally, the Supporter will provide a high-resolution logo (SVG or PNG format), social links (handles), a short paragraph expressing enthusiasm about the collaboration, and a write-up about their organisation.

Variation, Suspension, and Termination:

VLD Community reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone, or terminate the agreement for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. VLD Community’s decision on any aspect of the platform is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
